Kate is a Hollywood Foreign Press Fellow and a Caucus Foundation nominee. In addition, she’s worked on projects, which earned DirecTV’s n3D Excellence Award and The Silver Lion Award for Best Picture. Her three short films also traveled the international festival circuit screening from Tokyo to the States, and most recently, Kate was honored as a Women in Film Fund Finalist and received a Jury Award for her first feature film. In addition to film narrative, Kate’s directed commercials for many national brands. Along with her experience on set, she’s worked for leading entertainment companies such as Skydance Productions who produced Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Star Trek Into the Darkness.

Katy graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas where she wrote her honors thesis under the tutelage of Clay Reynolds whose novel, Franklin’s Crossing, was in contention for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize. After graduation, she worked as a freelance writer predominately creating copy for marketing firms; however, her work quickly led to a position as Head of Corporate Communications for a real estate development firm in San Diego where she created media for projects totaling over three hundred million dollars. In 2009, she continued her passion for education and received her Masters in Teaching. But it was Katy’s interest in story that led her to co-write short films with her daughter, director Kate Rhamey. Their collaboration expanded, and in 2012, they began creating commercials for nation brand products.


    production manager

Karen graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Film and Television minoring in English. She began her industry career as a jack-of-all-trades working as a PA, script supervisor, production manager, and producer. Before joining KR Squared Productions, Karen worked in the Talent/Public Relations Department for “The Hollywood Masters” program in association with the Hollywood Reporter. She acted as the liaison between the production team and high-profile guests such as Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, Aaron Sorkin, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Michael Caine.


    communications manager

Travis is one of those done a little bit of everything guys. He started in this industry as an actor and has worked professionally on stage and in film for over ten years. He performs regularly at iO West on the award-winning improv team Stormchaser. Outside of his acting career Travis has worked on numerous sets as a true asset to KR Squared’s production team. Travis studied at Dixie State College of Utah where he majored in Theatre with a minor in Marketing. He brings an excellent work ethic, and wonderful enthusiasm to each and every project.


    creative strategist / writer

Jesse Pepe is a Los Angeles based actor/screenwriter. He has scripted comedic commercials for Marriot International, Virgin America, Linkedin, Doritos, as well as various start-up companies. He also has two half-hour comedies in development. In his free time, he loves to write comedy music and has developed a solid online presence with his alter ego, J Pee. His first video under the J Pee persona garnered over 3 million views.


    singer / songwriter

Julian graduated with a B.A. in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University and went on to sign with Warner/Chappell Music as a singer/songwriter. In  2015, her debut album Good Girl released with critical praise. She was featured on Sirius Radio’s Patrick Monahan: Train Tracks, The Huffington Post, All Things Go, and NYLON Magazine. In fact, NYLON honored Julian as their February 2015 Band Crush. Her most recent work is an original song crafted for RoC Skincare, which highlights her ability to craft visual stories into emotionally resonant songs.

Growing up in musical theater, Bee struck off to New York City to hone her craft. She studied at Marymount Manhattan and trained under vocal coach Paul Katz. In 2011, she graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since moving to LA, Bee has coined jingles for Conair, Welch’s Sparkling, and Benzac Acne solutions, which received over 5 million views.



 Eva’s aesthetic is sophisticated and stunning with a natural feel. Eva’s resume boasts a who’s who of the food industry from Green Giant to Sur la Table. In addition, her work’s been featured in the Huffington Post, Bon Apetit, Glamour, NPR, and One King’s Lane. Eva’s blog, Adventures in Cooking, was a finalist for Savuer Magazine's best food blog award and most recently, she was featured on the cover of Where Women Cook.


    art director

Samantha can be seen duct-taped to a wall on the label of several Jone's Cherry Soda bottles currently in circulation. She graduated from Ohio State University where she performed improv comedy with the nationally recognized college group, The 8th Floor Improv. In addition, she interned at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and graduated from UCLA’s Acting for the Camera Professional Program. It was there, that Samantha discovered her love of visual design. Now, with paintbrush in hand, you can see Samantha’s work on numerous national brand commercials; the game show, “Save to Win;” and music videos by Will.i.am and One Republic.



Shan honed his visual storytelling skills at Loyola Marymount University where he studied under Mike Berkofsky whose renowned photograph of Jimi Hendrix hangs in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. Through such notable tutelage, Shan graduated with a degree in Film and Television Production, and immediately began working on set. He’s shot projects for such notable companies as Mattel, Funny or Die, and AwesomenessTV.  As for the big screen, Shan shot the Jury award winning film, Back to Awesome, and Fear Inc., which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has been picked us for US distribution.

Ryne began his career as an assistant sound editor for reality television shows such as Pivot’s HitRECord on TV, MTV’s Catfish, and The Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen. He was quickly promoted to network programs editing sound for hit shows like Hollywood Game Night and Master Chef. In the fall of 2015, he was brought on by Showtime for their highly anticipated, A Season with Notre Dame Football, which received strong reviews. In addition to his series work, Ryne has designed sound for many national brand commercials.


    motion graphics / colorist

Chris graduated with honors from Loyal Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. He’s worked full-time and freelance for clients as large as Mattel and Comcast to small web projects and even as a Visual Designer in the digital department of The Pete Holmes Show on TBS. Additional clients include: The Academy of Motion Picture Sciences, VH1, TEDxHollywood, Monster Energy Drink and musical acts such as Hoobastank, Slash, and Markus Schulz. Currently, his work can be seen on The Late, Late Show with James Corden.
